What a great point! Even when people are actually outside, playing sports, they are focussed on the wrong things. Watching a ball, when they could be tuned in to nature.

Your point about dualism is excellent, while Gurdjieff would say that “man is third-force blind”–i.e. that people need to learn to think in threes, or larger numbers, and my father would say that many things are not black and white but shades of grey.
It’s interesting what you say about Bob Marley, who was certainly always talking about Babylon, as were other reggae artists like Burning Spear.
Bob Marley actually spent more of his life in the city that neighbors me, Wilmington, Delaware, than he did in Jamaica, while he worked, like everyone around here, for my father’s company: E.I. DuPont de Nemours.

Otherwise, when I was a boy, as you may know from my books, particularly the chapter called Rhodesia, in Stories When Little, I was drugged, hypnotized, and assaulted in a soccer camp, which was only during the day, five days a week, for three summers.
There was a “counselor,” called Gene, who hypnotized us, after we were drugged, with his Mitre soccer ball, by turning it this way and that, similar to what one see with a dangling pocket watch, while I was later hypnotized in a secret base by a pencil, held vertical, turned ninety degrees left, then ninety degrees back to center, then ninety degrees right, then ninety degrees back to center and so on.
