BARBIE FORD – CELEBRATING ICONIC CENTERFOLDS THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHIC, EPOLYRIC & EROTO-IMAGINARY TECHNIQUE

The books I have written do not only tell the story of my life, so they entertain the reader through the Great American Novel.

The books I have written do not only tell the story of our world, so they inform the reader through a great work of history.

And the books I have written do not only have more than eighty thousand downloads, after fewer than three years, so you can take as many copies as you like, without registration, for free.

And I hope you share them with others.

The MK-Ultra Series celebrates so many amazing places, plants, animals, and people—along with the stars, the sky, the sea, and the earth—to record their stories, so we all may grow in renown.

As an epic poet, I sing of the beauty, trials, and achievements of the amazing women who posed for Playboy.

While I expose sexual programming, I make no apologies for healthy relations between consenting adults.

My books have a visual component, through which I will sometimes describe the geometrical composition, the color palette, and the wholesome effect of an iconic, erotic, and historic photograph, showing a beautiful naked woman, embodied in Playboy.

And, so, as a proper incentive to read my books, and to explain this literary device, which might else lie hidden, I wish to share another artistic example.

What I feel for these excellent ladies is best expressed in poetry, while, like them, I am brave to get naked in my books.

Here is a poem, which connects, in my mind, to a woman who posed in the desert, while I dream of her in the snow.

Ein Fichtenbaum steht einsam

Im Norden auf kahler Höh.

Ihm schläfert; mit weißer Decke

Umhüllen ihn Eis und Schnee.

*** *** ***

Er träumt von einer Palme,

Die, fern im Morgenland,

Einsam und schweigend trauert

Auf brennender Felsenwand.

And here is my translation, which you can read in my book, Playboy’s Progress, along with the rest of my amazing story.

A pine tree stands lonely

In the North on a barren height.

Sleep overtakes him. Ice and snow

Cover him with a white blanket.

*** *** ***

He dreams of a palm tree

Far in the East,

Who, lonely and silent, suffers

On a burning wall of rock.

I didn’t imagine Barbie Ford suffering, as I took her standing face to face, but she reminded me of the beautiful palm in the desert setting.

So she stands in her naked majesty, covered only with her Ray-Bans, while her bush glitters gold and the sun fires her body.

As I journal, through my artistic and historical masterpiece, it turns out that my plant metaphors recall a painter who also loved women’s bodies while she lived in Nature.

Her print hung in my beautiful dorm-room, while she painted in New Mexico, and I lived in California, but I viewed her works in New York.

And so, while I drew on Heinrich Heine, my work connects to Georgia O’Keefe, and we sing, together, a woman, of whom I know absolutely nothing.

That is except for two photographs from a single moment.

  1. P.S. If anyone has a better quality photograph of Barbie Ford, whose photograph appeared in Girls of Summer ’92, or of her original pose one year earlier, or otherwise, I would love to have it for this site–instead of the one above (which has the four of clubs added to it).

Otherwise, I hope it is obvious that people are always welcome to write with pictures and news of the beautiful women from Playboy–provided they are respectful.
