The White House issued the following statement:
George Bush brought to the White House a dedication to traditional American values and a determination to direct them toward making the United States “a kinder and gentler nation.” In his Inaugural Address he pledged in “a moment rich with promise” to use American strength as “a force for good.”
It makes me want to vomit.
Far from coming from “a family with a tradition of public service,” Bush was the spawn of Prescott Bush, who financed Hitler’s rise to power.

But here I want to talk, not about CIA’s heroin wars, but about CIA’s cocaine wars, which Bush caused.
Manuel Noriega was a CIA asset during Bush’s tenure both as Director of Central Intelligence and as Vice President, when Bush was photographed with him.
CIA trained Noriega at the School of the Americas and Fort Bragg. He was on CIA’s payroll for over twenty years, from 1967 to 1988.
As noted in The Guardian,
It is clear that each US government agency which had a relationship with Noriega turned a blind eye to his corruption and drug dealing, even as he was emerging as a key player on behalf of the Medellín Cartel.
Only after two federal grand juries indicted Noriega, CIA was forced to take him off their payroll.
Just as Bush invaded Iraq when Saddam Hussein became difficult to handle, Bush invaded Panama when Noriega became difficult to handle. The invasion resulted in the death of three thousand Panamanians, in what Bush called OPERATION JUST CAUSE. But despite the operation’s name, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights ordered the United States to pay reparations.
The Bushes love cocaine. After all, George W. Bush did a lot of it, before he “got religion.”

Likewise, Gary Webb, a reporter who won the Pulitzer Prize, exposed the connections among CIA, the Contras, and a crack kingpin. Webb found evidence that CIA had direct contact with the smugglers, knew the proceeds funded murder, and tried to cover it up. You can read his book, Dark Alliance, here.
The central player was no ordinary drug lord, but he popularized crack, which is more addictive than powder because it can only be smoked. You can smoke powder cocaine, but you can’t sniff crack.
Not only was CIA smuggling cocaine into the United States, but they were working to destroy black communities, since crack, which is used mostly by blacks, carries higher penalties than powder, which is used mostly by whites.
Bush’s esclation of the War on Drugs made the ploy more effective. In 1989, he held a live televised address from the White House, holding up a bag of crack; but the whole thing was orchestrated by agents who had lured a teenage drug dealer into Lafayette Park. Emphasizing the proximity of the arrest to the White House, Bush called for “more prisons, more jails, more courts, more prosecutors.”

Gary Webb, who exposed CIA’s crimes, later turned up dead, with two bullets in his brain. I’m not sure how a person can shoot himself twice in the head, but the coroner ruled it suicide. Obviously, Bush’s “more prisons, more jails, more courts, more prosecutors” did not apply to the killers in the CIA.
It reminds me of the time Margie Schoedinger sued George W. Bush for rape. She turned up, too, with a bullet in her head….
That’s what can happen when you tangle with the Bush Crime Family, exposing their dirty secrets.

Relay computers were too slow, but the electronic computer, invented in 1946 by J. Presper Eckert and John W. Mauchly, filled the bill. The next breakthrough was the development of the simplex method of linear programing in 1947 by the mathematician George B. Dantzig. Then in 1948, the transistor, invented by J. Bardeen, W. H. Brattain, and W. Shockley, promised great expansion of the computer field by reducing space and power requirements.
With these three inventions under their direction, those in positions of power strongly suspected that it was possible for them to control the whole world with the push of a button. Immediately, the ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION got in on the ground floor by making a four-year grant to HARVARD COLLEGE, funding the HARVARD ECONOMIC RESEARCH PROJECT for the study of the structure of the American economy.
